Volunteers are the heart of Caring Matters Industries. Through the weekly distribution of fresh and packaged food, we support neighbors experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. Volunteer Roles:
Cooking Homey Meals
Help our Chef prepare and package fresh, hot meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers assist with basic meal prep, plating, and serving, helping ensure every guest receives a warm meal and a welcoming experience.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Food Handler’s License
Home cooking or restaurant experience required
Serving Meals to the Community
Help us serve fresh, hot meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers assist with portioning meals, preparing drinks, and welcoming guests, helping ensure every person receives not only a warm meal but a moment of dignity and connection.
