At Caring Matters Industries, our goal is to provide nourishment, safety, and belonging to those experiencing homelessness and poverty. Through compassionate outreach and community support, we strive to alleviate the emotional toll of homelessness and meet the basic survival needs of individuals and families. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for low income individuals in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
How Caring Matters Industries Began
Caring Matters Industries was founded in 2023 by 17-year-old Logan Sferrazza with the goal of supporting the homeless community in Colorado Springs through meal distribution. Since then, our mission has grown to include mobile food distribution, clothing, hygiene kits, and survival items. We are dedicated to meeting the immediate needs of those facing hardship. To date, we’ve served over 2,000 individuals, showing up every Sunday, rain or shine, to provide meals and essential supplies.
A Message From Our Leader
"I started Caring Matters Industries to find a sense of belonging in my hometown, Colorado Springs. Growing up, I always wanted to help the people around me. I discovered that food was my way of achieving this. My passion for the culinary arts gave me purpose and direction, helping me find my place in the world.
To build on that passion and better serve my community, I decided to go to culinary school. There, I learned that food can do more than nourish the body; it can bring dignity, comfort, and fuel to those who need it most. This belief is the core of everything we do at Caring Matters Industries. Through mobile food distribution and community outreach, I strive to use my training and passion to meet people where they are with a warm meal and remind them that they matter."
