Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are ready to support those experiencing homelessness and financial challenges. A majority of our volunteers have experienced the issues we combat. Whether it be hunger, homelessness, or mental health crisis, we are here to lend a hand or give an ear to those who need it.
In September of 2023, our founder Logan started preparing and serving meals to the hungry on North Nevada, Colorado Springs, CO. Witnessing the widespread need for basics such as food and water, we built a team committed to weekly visits.
Recognizing the increasing cost of living, we aim to alleviate financial stress by providing a weekly nutritious meal.
Logan Sferrazza founded Caring Matters in September of 2023. As a 17-year-old fighting depression, he sought out a purpose and a community. Since then, Logan has organized our team to bring food to the people of Colorado Springs.
Janet Bullock "Nana" is our leader's grandmother. At 83, she has previously been a successful teacher and businesswoman. She has been an invaluable advisor in helping get our nonprofit off the ground. Having been a single mother, she realizes how helpful a free meal can be.
Sarah Love is the powerhouse behind the scenes here at Caring Matters. As our Coordinator, she has been instrumental in driving our mission to the next level. Sarah ensures our message reaches those who need it most. With a deep personal understanding of the challenges faced by those lacking support, Sarah is more than dedicated to our cause.
There are many ways to get involved with Caring Matters Industries, including volunteering, making a donation, or attending one of our events.
